Club Lua - Espanola Way, Miami Beach

In 1994, Gary James and George Nunez, the owners of "Warsaw Ballroom" and "The Spot", the two most successful Miami Beach night clubs at the time saw the need for a late night private club for Miami Beach's elite to table hop and air kiss. They came to Barrie and his then business partner Christopher to create a room that would be fanciful and posh and oh-so kitsch. Club Lua opened to rave reviews and played host to Tara Solomon’s (then queen of Miami nightlife) Martini club.
